About the Role
The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for patient communications, scheduling, and will put the patient experience first. The ideal candidate should be well-organized and be comfortable scheduling visits in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, this individual should be able to help the executive team with any necessary tasks.
Responsibilities
- Patient scheduling and calendar management for practice
- Organizing and filing documents;
- Answering and routing phone calls with precision and empathy
- Reviewing, routing, prioritizing and responding to emails
- Chart prep for next day and other tasks as needed
- Morning opening of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel etc.
- EPIC medical software a must.
- Experience – Minimum 5 years in professional setting
- Experience in managing priorities and administrative coordination.
- Well-organized, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
- Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Calm and intelligent phone etiquette
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving
Work Setting and Schedule
- In-person, at our Back Bay practice.
- Full time, Monday-Friday
- Office Hours: 7:30am- 3:30pm (1/2 hr. dedicated lunchtime)
