Dr. Walkey is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine with twenty years of Primary Care experience. She earned her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2002. As a Chief Medical resident during her Tufts Internal Medicine residency, she led in combining rigorous academic medicine with a more personalized interactive approach, becoming assistant professor of medicine at Tufts Medical Center. Her work has included providing primary care to a diverse population within the Boston VA Healthcare System addressing complex medical and social conditions.
Dr. Walkey is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, providing evidence-based and compassionate care to women in mid-life. In addition, she is deeply passionate about helping patients access Lifestyle Medicine by taking a holistic approach to nutrition, fitness, healthy sleep, and sense of purpose to improve performance, longevity, and overall wellbeing.
Beyond work, Dr. Walkey enjoys cooking plant-based recipes, playing tennis, and trying new adventures like surfing and winter ocean plunges.
